Bourbon Beaver is published by Nordic Tug LLC (Oregon). This page explains what the app collects, why, and how to delete it. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC); inventory and price data come from OLCC public records and can be stale or wrong.
Bourbon Beaver uses Sign in with Apple. We store the Apple user identifier, and your name and email only if you chose to share them (Hide My Email works fine). Signing in is optional for browsing the app, but it is required to track bottles, save stores, and buy Drop Alerts.
When you turn on an alert for a tracked bottle, we store your device's APNs push token so we can deliver Drop Alerts. Turning the alert off, or signing out, removes the token.
Location is used on your phone to show store distances and nearby-store alerts. The app sends store identifiers to our server, not your coordinates. The one exception is a one-time distance check when you claim a Golden Beaver at a store.
Drop Alerts purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive the App Store transaction identifier, product, and renewal or expiry status so we can turn alerts on and off. We never see your payment details.
We collect crash reports (app build, iOS version, crash diagnostics) and daily usage counts, used only to keep the app working.
No ads. No ad or analytics SDKs. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
We use Apple (sign-in, push notifications, purchases) and Cloudflare (hosting and database, US data centers) to run the app.
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app, which removes your data and revokes your Sign in with Apple token. You can also email support@bourbonbeaver.club and we will delete it for you. Crash reports are pruned periodically.
Bourbon Beaver is not for anyone under 21.
If this policy changes, we will post the update here with a new effective date.
